Yes it still feels fresh to me. A bit short and plain at times but Ella Enchanted always comes to mind so it gets pop culture brownie points from me.

I was sick to death of this name, but I am coming around to it. If I tilt my head and squint, I can still see the vintage charm it used to have, and I understand why parents went crazy over it. I definitely would not call it "fresh" though.

I think Ella is a pretty name. I never actually met one before so I can’t say it’s overdone or anything, but it’s a solid name I’d say.
