Maeva or Madison?
I had my heart set on a name beginning with M (surname begins with M). All the way through my pregnancy I ‘felt’ the baby was a Madison even though I had never contemplated the name before. Now I’m beginning to lean towards Maeva (Mae is a common name in my family but I don’t personally like Mae on its own). What are your thoughts? And other M names?

Maeva is more interesting, I like that one!
In terms of other Mae names, I've always thought Maëlys was very pretty.

Neither. I prefer Maeve.

Neither. Maeve is lovely, Maeva is clunky and Madison is becoming dated.I'd consider Marianne, Margaret or Michele.

Maeva, hands down. I've never cared for Madison. Nothing but a trendy and youthful, flash-in-the-pan type name that thankfully has been trending down. Also it sounds like medicine. Other M names for girls: Madeleine, Madeline

Maeva is lovely to look at, but less so to say. And if you felt it was a Madison, why not? It’s a nice name.
