August on a girl... hm.... I know Mark Zuckerberg has a daughter named August but I'm not crazy about it on a girl. Maybe it's because I always seen it as masculine thanks to my Grand Uncle August and I would actually use it as a first name if I wanted. I think Augusta is beautiful.
Ira is okay. Ira Dorothy together is pleasantly surprising, and sweet.
Jupiter is fine! But as far as planet names on girls I would use Mars or Venus. Jupiter is unexpected without being too weird though, so I like that.
Dorothy Lavender has some pizzazz to it. I dig it.
Dimity Facente is kinda ugly... sorry. Dimity just reminds me of Dimitri and Amity is a prettier opinion IMO, and Facente just reminds me of placenta oddly enough.

Oh, for heaven's sake. The only actual girl name used in the lead spot is Dorothy. What the hell is wrong with people who think girls should have masculine names, or with poor Dimity, a fabric name that doubles as a name for undergarments, that's just sad.
Nic Cage, just put an A at the end of your daughters name, im begging you.
Would far rather see Ira on a boy
However... I can't be mad at a girl Jupiter. what can i say I like Jupiter Ascending. it works. sue me
I think Lavender is fun and also ideal in the MN spot. Dorothy Lavender is very sweet.
Dimity sounds... kind of steampunkish?

Liking the resurgence of Dorothy!
I'd be interested to hear the inspiration behind Dimity - I know it's a type of fabric, but it kind of reads like a fancy way of calling someone dumb.

The only one I like is Dimity
Jupiter Seaborn is ok and so is Dorothy Lavender, although this one is a little too cutesy and frilly for me.
I really love August Francesca, I'd actually name a daughter this.

August and Jupiter speak either of ignorance or of deliberate gender-bending. Ira looks fem but who knows? They might have a biblical reference in mind, or it could be n the August-and-Jupiter category. I know dimity as a checked or striped cotton, good for summer dresses; and I keep thinking of the old joke about the manufacturer of synthetic fabrics who named his twin daughters Polly and Esther. I do like Francesca and Dorothy, which cheers me up. And Seaborn is quite wonderful as a lnfn; I'm glad it's a mn though.
