Lilium ( lily- um )
Saw this name , I thought it was beautiful ! Any suggestions on a middle name ??

The um is unattractive to me. I think there are more attractive unusual Lil- names to be found. Like Lilith, Lilias, Lilas, Lilia, etc..Plus just Lillian is nice and stately.

I like it for a boy, but I think it would be weird for a girl (I think if it's a girl it should be Lily, Lilia, or Lilian).

I understand its a flower, and there is lots of precedent for flower names, but it actually sounds like a chemical or battery or something to me, do not find it all all attractive, but...probably a single syllable in the middle

It would be confused with Lilian on a daily basis, and I can't get over the fact that it's neuter in Latin.
