Kathleen, although indisputably dated, is rather harmless. I don't care for the spelling of Caitlin at all. I think the name looks MUCH nicer with a 'K', spelled as either Kaitlin, Kaitlyn or as Katelyn. Agree! I prefer Kate and Katherine to Cate and Catherine.Oh, and I like Katelyn and Kaitlin.

(: Same here, although I'm fine with Catherine. It's just the whole Cate/Cait/Caitlin that I have a problem with, lol. Maybe even Cathleen. I'm aware that Caitlin/lyn might have been the original spelling, but most people initially spell it with a 'K' anyway. Katelyn/Kaitlin are better, in my opinion, despite being seen as 'modern' varaints.
