I think that... Nebuchadnezzar + María de los Ángeles = a perfect match.I honestly like María de los Ángeles

All I remember is that in eighth grade world history, we did nothing but make fun of his name (the teacher did nothing but encourage us).

My granddad also derives a lot of amusement from this name.

We used to make fun of Cincinnatus in 8th or 9th grade Latin because it sounds like kinky. What's funny about Nebuchadnezzar? Just the length/grandiosity, or something else?

I think the teacher changed the slide, someone saw the name, snorted, and said, "imagine 6 year old him trying to spell that for the teacher," and it escalated

I think this is the answer for me. I've been searching for a full name for "Ned" that isn't one of the Ed names.

What about Benedict or Kennedy

I like Benedict but it just really doesn't seem to come naturally to it :/ It's more realistic than Nebuchadnezzar, though lol
I hate Kennedy unfortunately but thanks!

So call me crazy, but when I was a kid, I thought Nebuchadnezzar was presented as an admirably good listener in the Bible. At least for a tyrant who is willing to burn people alive for not bowing to his image (who has probably been raised to believe that's ok).I think it would be a chore to spell IRL, but it'd be interesting to encounter! It'd be especially fun if I knew a Ned and found out his official name was Nebuchadnezzar.

I’m not a fan of this name, personally.

I think it sounds like a good name for a black cat. I’d call him Neb for short.

Not my style. Too associated with the biblical king (which I think isn't a good association) and it's too lengthy. Also sounds quite rough to me.

Ok, so this name is quite strange, but I enjoy it! Personally, I'd name one of my characters like that. "Nezz" sounds nice as a nickname.

Good name for a horse, not so much a 21st c. child.

It's one of my GPs, along with Meshach and Abednego

Lol, like Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? Also the king Nebuchadnezzar was featured in the same story, isn't it? 🤣

Yes, they're all from the same story
