I second your thought about the font name. I think it's really beautiful, like it has some tough sound to it but it rolls really well ofy tongue and I think it has grace. Good name.

Cressida Dick and Cressida Bonas are my first and second thoughts. Cressida Dick was Police Commissioner in the uk until earlier this year and Cressida Bonas is an ex girlfriend of Prince Harry.I love Cressida but my husband thinks it is too fancy. Whatever that means.

I think it’s pretty. The beginning is crisp and delicate, the ending is strong, its fancy without being frilly, it’s got a good historical provenance and a nice meaning. No super obvious nicknames are jumping out, but Crissy and Sid could maybe work. Cress makes me think of the leafy green. Not a bad association but not the best.

Was the name of a car, perhaps a Toyota model. Which rather spoils it for me. As a name, it's very pretty, but if it would shorten to Cress then I'm not keen at all. Better as a mn, perhaps?

I love Cressida. I considered it as a middle name for our daughter, but my husband vetoed it.
