as you should, Virtue names are the jazz. I particularly like Virtue middle names for boys like Courage or Noble. Totally GP but I still like it a lot. Joy is my favorite of these

I've never liked the sound of Amity.Joy is ok, but I think I prefer it as a MN (it does brighten up combos that way). I like Gioia more at the moment.Clemency is too reminiscent of actual crime sentences for me, but I do like Clement, Clementine, Clemence somewhat.Charity sounds nice to me. About like Cherry or Crystal would.I think Mercy, Solace, and Knowledge are my favorite virtue type names right now.Hope, Temperance, Patience, Reason, Honesty, Honor, Prosper, Clarity, Promise, Earnest, Epiphany, Harmony, Prudence, Felicity seem like some other OK ones to me.I like some like Modesty, Beauty, Providence as GPs.I don't know if I'd actually use one for a child (I wonder, as someone else kinda said, if they might emphasize a lacking quality), but when I see them used IRL (I've met kids named Temperance, Honesty, Honor and young adults Patience and Charity, for example) I tend to like them so much it surprises me...though I wasn't enamored with meeting a Joy or Constance.

My favorites are Charity and Verity.

I like most virtue names, but there is a certain point where they start sounding too Puritanical. There is always the risk of the kid not living up to the name, though. Like Amity is a stuck-up jerk, Charity is selfish, Clemency holds major grudges and Joy is a black cloud.

I've never been a fan of virtue names, mostly because I'm a little sceptical about word names.
But I like Amity, Joy & Clemency (also Clemence, Clement, Clemens)
Charity is too "wordy" even for a word name.
Joy is so buzzing and bustling, a perfect MN.
I also like Prudence nn Prue, Hope, Faith, Constance and most of all Verity.

Virtue names are beautiful.🔲 Amity: Like that one. Could be shortened to Amy too.
🔲 Charity: Love this one too. I like this alongside with Hope and Faith.
🔲 Clemency: I never knew Clemency was a virtue. It's unique, but I prefer Clementina.
🔲 Joy: Too simple for my liking. Prefer Joyce or Zoe.

Amity I'm totally down for; trendsetter (reminds me of Amity Blight from Owl House)Charity is kinda preppy and mom-ish, but not badClemency I'll pass onJoy is dull

I like Joy. Amity is okay. I don’t care for the rest.

From your list I love Joy. Charity and Amity are just ok, and I don't like Clemency.
I like Temperance as well (I would only dare to use it as a middle name, though)

I love Joy and Clemency; also Felicity though that's a bit of a stretch. I find Charity unsettling: Caritas would work better, at least it doesn't suggest giving some spare change to a homeless person; and I dislike Amy and find Amity too close to it. Would you count Justine? I like it very much.
