I think they'd have been wiser to have used these spellings for mns. Even in Scotland! I've seen Garry as a normal spelling variant of Gary, not as a geographical reference, and I really don't like it. I much prefer Gareth to Gary and Garry, but of course it's the wrong piece of Celtic Fringe. Harray is ghastly; sounds like a pretentious middle-class twit in an unsuccessful radio comedy.
