It's not a bad name, but is very 80s in my mind.

I think Joshua is just too overused and popular.

When I was a kid I had a record of some song about a Joshua Giraffe who I remember feeling sorry for because the lyrics seemed to insinuate that his mother didn't love him. Traumatizing.

I think Joshua is a fairly nice name. I know plenty of them; most aren’t bad people. Josh is a cool nickname.

A friend used to sing, in moments of stress, 'Joshua, Joshua, sweeter than lemon squash you are'. It is so popular that my brain just blurs; every second male child (and adolescent) seems to answer to Josh. Once I'd have said it was too biblical; now it's still that but also overused. No love for it here.

It's a nice name, but I don't like it as much as I used to. It really does sound like a huge, loud, uncovered sneeze.

I think it's handsome. Handsome and timeless name, it's also on my top 10 names for boys. Some idiots say it sounds feminine for a boy because of the -a ending but I disagree with them.
