Middles for Cole
Some of you might be familiar with my admiration for this underused, yet simple name. It is THE name I plan to use for a son, and has been many years now. Although I'm nowhere near having any kids of my own, I've been playing around with some potential name combinations, as you do. I'm wondering which combo do you prefer best, and suggestion on any secondary middles. Just for the pure fun of it.Cole Alexander (Overused, sure, but oh so handsome)
Cole Donovan (love the way Donovan sounds. 😍)
Cole Emerson (A somewhat nod to my sister. She used an 'Au' name for her first daughter's middle name, and I think it would be kinda cute/neat to do the same thing for her name. I wanted to incorporate my mother's name somehow, but that's pretty much impossible. Her name was Polly (So maybe 'Paul?) Although I also have an uncle by that name, and I've never been terribly amazed by it. Just rather neutral. Larry after my favorite uncle perhaps. (Lawrence perhaps. Larry might be too dated and tainted? Positive associations for me though.Cole Alexander Paul (Too 'L' heavy?)
Cole Emerson Paul
Cole Alexander Larry/Lawrence
Cole Donovan Larry/LawrenceAny thoughts or suggestions? 🙂*~Rate my PNLs!~* NEW NAMES RECENTLY ADDED!

I like Cole.Alexander, Laurence and Paul are too lispy as middle names alone, but in combos of three, they sound okay. I do like Cole Donovan Lawrence, Cole Emerson (without Paul) and I believe that Cole is easier to work with as a middle name. I had a hard time here.Alexander Donovan Cole
Emerson Cole Alexander
Paul Emerson Cole
Lawrence Cole Emerson
Donovan Lawrence Cole Cole Lawrence Micheal
Cole Donovan Micheal
Michael Emerson Cole
Cole Johnathan Paul

I love the name Cole and I could see myself using it for my son. Despite Donovan not being my style, it is my favourite middle name from your list. It goes so well with Cole! Cole and Paul/Pol are so similar in sound, I think Cole could be a honour name of itself. Larry might be "old fashioned", but it's a good solid name and if it's what your uncle was named I'd use it as it is.

Cole Paul is pretty terrible. But since Polly is a form of Mary, how about Cole Marius? Though I prefer the flow of Marius Cole.

Aw I really like Cole! I think it's usable as a nickname for Collin or Collins too. I like the Cole Emerson Paul combination the most!

I like Collin/Colin as well, but Cole has my heart. 🥰 Collins is much too surname-y.
Thanks for commenting.
