I really don't like it.

Grew up with a Scott. Have no issues with it. Did see it on an actors credits once and SO said 'he doesn't look like a Scott'. Precocious spawn said, 'you can tell by their kilts.'

There's nothing actually wrong with it, but for some reason the name always makes me think of a guy who badly needs a shower and to wash his hair. (I get the same impression from Dean as well.) I have no idea why, I don't think I ever met a Scott in person whogave me that impression. The only guy who comes to mind as being smelly and greasy was named Keith, and I don't get those vibes from the name Keith.

I’m neutral as well on this name. It’s not horrible, but it isn’t the best name, you know? Everyone named Scott that I’ve met is a cool person. So, that’s a good thing, at least.

It's good, I'm neutral on it. Sounds mature too.
