Which names do you think are more common in Canada than in the United States?

I've noticed Lorne and Lorna are very common there, or at least, used to be.

Under "Name Themes" at the bottom of the page there's a list called "Canadian (not American)", maybe that would be helpful?

Thanks, that's really helpful!

I haven't got a clue; but if I wanted a clue, I'd look up the top 50 names on the most recent popularity lists (click on Names, then Popularity on the blue bar above).

Yes, but I'm more interested in names that are more popular in Canada, but not in America, since I found more of the same names than different ones in the top for America and the top for Canada

Doesn't that mean that there isn't much difference? It might not be the information you were hoping for, but it is certainly telling you something.

Personally, I have no idea at all. I live very far away from Canada. Though, a Canadian friend of mine told me some popular names for our age group. She said that people still have the popular names in my age group. Except, that she knew countless people named Owen (which isn’t a very popular name here). She also knew 4 people named Michelle (one with a different spelling). So, maybe that helped you?

Yeah, that helped me
