I knew a Dutch girl at university with this name and it was very pleasant on her. While I love Maria the most, I have nothing but positive feelings for Marietta.

I prefer Mary or Maria and Harriet or Arrietta. This name is too complicated.

I vastly prefer both Mary and Maria. And, indeed, Marianne. Marietta is rhythmically unpleasing and too long.
