I really like Xavier. Like you say, it's a known name and a classic, without ever being overused. As a kind-of nerd, I also love the reference to X-men. I think because it has an emphasis on the second syllable or works great as a middle name!

I like Xavier! I met a few in a life and it’s an okay and handsome name! I’d really consider it. Like you said it’s familiar and cool! I don’t find it too religious.

When it's ZAV ee er, it's fine if heavily Catholic. When it's EKS av ee er, it's an abomination.

It feels like the name of a bad boy love interest in a YA novel.

I really like this name! It also makes an amazing middle name.

I don't think is uncommon enough to be different as it is really heard of. I don't like it because it sounds trendy.
