Adam
• What do you think of Adam?
• What associations do you have with it?
• What kind of person do you imagine bearing the name?
• What middle name(s) would you use?
• What would you name a brother and a sister?
Also, I'm wondering if any of you know why Adam does not appear to have been used as a Jewish name with much frequency, historically? I know it charts in Israel right now, but reading historical sources about 19th and 20th century, I've not encountered any Adams, in contrast to the many women named Chaya or Chava.

1. I think Adam is a nice name.
2. I have good and bad associations. A good one would be 2 guys named Adam who I grew up with. A bad one would be Adam Lanza. Oh, and there’s also Adam from the Bible (neutral).
3. I don’t generally place personalities to names. So, I wouldn’t know.
4. Adam Florian, Adam Charles, Adam Elijah, Adam Jayce, and Adam Tobias.
5. I’d name a brother Seth Alexander or Brett Alexander. I’d name a sister Leah Janae or Cora Brielle.

I know someone who named her first son Adam 'because' it was the first male name in the Bible. Her second son is Matthew. There was a lot of speculation during her third and final pregnancy, but the baby was a girl named Sophia.
I find both Adam and Matthew very bland and dull, though the above brothers aren't like that at all.

I love Adam. It seems so familiar but not overused at the same time. I don’t have any strong associations with anything.
I love Adam. I knew a few when I was in school, and I have a nephew with the name. Despite those more youthful associations, I like it best as an old man name.
I always liked Adam. It's a friendly, familiar, unassuming name that can work well on any age or ethnicity.
No idea why it doesn't show as popular among Jewish men of that time period. Was their a different form of it that was used more, like Chava or Chaya for Eve?
Maybe Jews of the time thought that Adam was too much used by Gentiles?
Adam Charles
Adam George
Adam Robert
Adam Sean?

It’s a family name, so that’s my association.
His middle name is Tadeusz.
His brother is Antoni and his sister is Bozenna
