Elfie
What do you think of Elfie? Do you think it works as an independent/full name or do you prefer it used as a nickname (if so, for what name)?

Weird coincidence: I saw a YouTube video yesterday of a girl's Sims 4 playthrough & she had her character & Santa have a baby so that she could have a character with Santa's "father winter's child" special trait. She named their daughter Elfie & I thought it was cute.

All I think of are Christmas elves. I don’t like it at all.
It would be a good nickname for Elfgifu.
Where I live, it sounds like someone with a really unattractive accent trying to say Alfie. So if I heard it, I would probably say Alfie rather than Elfie, thus creating a social disaster! I really don't like it - elves are so ephemeral - and I don't even like Alfie either.
I personally don't care for Effie, and Elfie managed to be worse. It sounds like something a young child might call an elf. Much like Birdy for bird, doggy for dog and so on.
There is a male country singer named Elvie (he's in his 30's)
I knew a dog named Elfie
I think it could be a cute nickname, for the right person. A full name? Not a chance.
Looks like a typo of Elsie. And feels rather childish and inconsistent.
Too… well… elfy
Elvira would be better although I don’t like that one either

Same
I think it's adorable, but I'd only use it as a nickname for Elfriede / Elfrida or Elfleda.
It's very babyish and cutesy, like something you'd call your Elf On the Shelf toy.
