It kinda makes me shake my head. I mean, it's not terrible. It just misses the mark, for me. I like a lot of "smush" names, and don't object to them in principle, but to me Renesmee sounds stuttering, inelegant, like starting to say Renee and then changing your mind halfway through and saying Esmee instead. I feel a little disappointed in it. It's not creative *enough* - not proud enough of itself to pull off its smushiness with a sense of elegance.I think hyphenating would have been more appealing: Rene-Esmee, with Renesmee as an informal contraction of Rene-Esmee, rather than the actual given name. If I were named Renesmee I would probably want to change my name to Rene-Esmee. Or even Esme-Renee ... which could be neat, I think I like it.- mirfak
