Re: Marigold or Stella
Well in my honest opinion…I really like the sound of both Marigold and Stella.Marigold is sunny, cheerful, and fun with personality. The flower is beautiful and it reminds me summer and autumn. Golden, cute, but also beautiful. I don’t know what’s up with your sister but Marigold is actually lovely and I would like it see it on somebody. Goldie would be cute as a nickname. Stella is also very ethereal and beautiful. Celestial and gorgeous in its own way. I love how it means “star” and overall it’s a light and good universal name that you can’t really go wrong with. Respectable and fine overall.Personally, Marigold is a little more middle-namey for me. I think it can work as a first name but I have a Neve Marigold in my family and I love her name. It a bit of a cows name, but a good one. Stella I probably wouldn’t use, but it’s still a good name. If you want your daughter to have something a little less unusual and familiar with conscience and WONT provoke an unwanted or necessary reaction, go with Stella. If you don’t really care so much what others think, and you really love the sound and idea of Marigold; Go with Marigold! Marigold Stella is still great. And she can always go by Stella. Even if they’re not a fan of her name they’ll have to get used to it eventually. Maybe she will go by Mari. That said, Stella Marigold is absolutely gorgeous! I love it and would go with that. If she ever wants something to make her stand out a little more, Stella can always go by Marigold. You can always call her Goldie either way! My mom calls me by my middle name sometimes. Maybe make a poll or use Maristella! Good luck!
