Re: Iris and Cora

Iris used to be my favourite name of all time. I like its mythical connection to the Greek rainbow goddess, and I think it goes very well with my surname. My only gripe with it is that my favourite Iris combo, Iris Ariadne, is composed of two cold names, while combos should ideally be a cold name and a warm name in any order.
Cora is like a gruffer version of Cordelia and Cornelia. Still aristocratic, but self-assured and kind of nasal. I don't dislike it, but kora (essentially pronounced the same way) means tree bark in Polish. I like the tautological Cora Persephone and Cora Proserpina / Cora Proserpine.

What names do you classify as cold? Which ones as warm? I’m curious
