I find Doris very charming and respectable.

If it fits them, I think it’s an okay name. I like Dorian, so it would be kinda weird to not like Doris. But I think the etymology is lovely and interesting; makes a nice name that’s distinguishing and has a personality these days. Making combos because I’m bored.

I just finished watching the last season of American Horror Story and there was a thirtysomething Doris on there, I was surprised by that sighting!

I actually think it's quite a cute name on the right person, and the more I think about it the more it grows on me.

I don't think Dor and Is go together very well. It sounds super masculine. But I do like names with similar sounds such as Morris and Dora.

I prefer Dorothy. Then, Dorothea, then Doreen and finally Doris. I know they aren't all the same, but the Dor- makes them similar.
