I used to like it, but then I heard it on a character and it sounded absolutely ridiculous.

I'm a little surprised the name has such a high rating on here - 80%? Wow.I don't hate it as a theoretical name but it's the kind of name I like in theory and would never feel comfortable ever using in real life.

I like it. It sounds calm and masculine.

I absolutely love it. Would I ever use it for a real life child? Probably not, but I adore it anyway.

It looks kind of girly, sounds awkward, the only nickname I can come up with is Perry, which I don't like and I just don't understand why so many people here like the name.My first thought is always the falcons though, and no one ever mentions them: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peregrine_falcon

It's just too storybook and too posh to take seriously as a name for a real person. The kind of storybook with random common nouns capitalized and rich blond children living in a Nursery and being taken to the Park by the Nurse. Also, it sounds like a seventies sports car.

I'd love to see this used more

My first thought is Pippin from Lord of the Rings. I think the name is kind of weird sounding and completely delightful.

I kinda like it but I kinda don’t. It’s unusual, interesting, and even a bit cool. Even if it reminds me of cheese. I think it’s a nice name and has middle name potential.
