Either spelling is fine ON A GIRL. I’d say Aubree is kinda too modern for my tastes, but tbh it reminds me more of Bree than it does modern abominations like Keighlee.
But if you’re having a boy right now, I’m begging you, DO NOT NAME HIM AUBREY OR AUBREE. I don’t care that it was originally for men, it would be like calling a man Emily by today’s standards. You’re gonna make his life so much harder.
