I don't much like the first syllable, which sounds like Less. Not the best. Leslie, which I don't like at all as a fn, has the first syllable sounding like Lez, which is a whole lot better.

I’m not really a fan of it, personally. That’s only my opinion, though.

I think it's cute and dorky. I like it.

I don't know if there's a bad association I've forgotten, but it just sounds slimy, devious and untrustworthy to me. It's giving strong serial killer vibes.

People probably dislike it mostly due to its similarity to molester.

I have always thought that, in a 21st century context, the only way this name is usable is either as a cat or a teddy bear.

There's nothing... wrong with it, I guess, I just think it's dated and not in a classic or distinguished way.

I think it's OK. Maybe not ready for a comeback anytime soon, but still OK.
