Both are cool but Claire is better.
Absolutely despise Clare though. It just takes the flair out of it. I prefer it as a middle name Cecilia Claire

It's classy & neat, reminds me of pearls and ballet dresses; a bit boring but still beautiful, at least sound-wise.
I slightly prefer Claire, I guess.

No one Clair - according to this site, it's masculine and regardless it looks incomplete.I like both Clare and Claire.Claire Justine is a combo I've always like. I don't care for alliterative names, but Claire Catherine has always seemed nice to me.

The only spelling I like - and I like it very much indeed - is Clare. I'd never use it as a fn, because it can sound dreadful in some local dialects, but it's be an excellent mn.

I have always liked this name. I really love the Claire spelling out of them. Clare is also a nice spelling. Clair, however, reminds me of the word “chair”.Combinations:
