Dany
I absolutely adore the name Dany but it’s so insubstantial I can’t imagine using it as a full name (not that I’m pregnant or planning to be anytime soon). The only full names I can think of for Dany are Danielle and Daniella, neither of which I’m fond. There’s also Danica, but there seems to be a lot of discourse about the English pronunciation versus the "real" one. I do like the Slavic pronunciation, but as a non-slav I feel it wouldn’t be appropriate for me to use.Are there any other names you can think of that you can get the nickname Dany out of?

Danna would be my personal favorite! Danica would be really nice! I’m a fan of the English pronunciation, personally. Danika is another spelling that you could consider. Danette is an interesting choice that I’ve seen!I also think that Sheridan and Jordana are nice names. I prefer the name Jordan; you can also get “Dany” from Jordan.

What I like most about Danica (Slavic pronunciation) is that it doesn't seem to attract nicknames at all. I like Daniel and nn Dan for a boy, but I really don't enjoy the fem versions at all.
