Re: Who Do You Think You Are?

That's a huge family by any standards! Looking at creations like Joeina, I'm sure they'd have been more than capable of giving Nettie as a full name. Here and there, no doubt by accident, there's a good name: Mary, James, Frances, Rachel; second team = Roland, Christina, George, Rhoda. No doubt Roland and Rhoda were far enough apart in age for their names not to be confusing.
I'd love to know if they pronounced -ina like EYEna or EEna. Joeina and Willamina are interesting ... I prefer Francis for a boy, but they seem to have specialised in girls. And IsaCLena, or is is IsaDina? (I lost my glasses!) I guess it's Isaac + Lena. Back in the day when foreign accents were funny, I can imagine a dialogue: "What's your name?" "Isaclena" "And what work do you do?" "I's a cleaner"
