Leon
what do you think of the classic name Leon? it seems it's receiving a resurgence in popularity here, but it has a very early-20th-century ring to it.

I always liked Leon. I like a lot of the names in the Leo family. Leona is beautiful, Leonie is cute, Leo is dashing and handsome, Leontine is classy, and of course Leon is noble and bright. Lovely choice for a boy.

It’s okay. I prefer Leo or Leonid.

It's alright, but I prefer Leo. It seems both uptight and kind of sleepy?
Like it could be the name of an art critic or a librarian. Definitely has a mature vibe.

I imagine a white haired man in his 50s, wearing a sweater.

I like it a lot, it's actually one of my favorite boy names and my absolute favorite Leo- name. And since others are mentioning the Leons they're reminded of, I will be a dork and say my first thought is Leon S. Kennedy.

I love Leon. I'd love it if it were more popular. It's more serious than Leo, and I appreciate that. It definitely reminds me of Leon Trotsky, so it has a revolutionary feel to it, which I like.

I very recently found out my great-great grandfather was named Leon, so it spiked my interest in the name.

It’s definitely coming back into fashion but it’s a bit “heavy “, reminds me of Leon Trotzky or Leon Blum.

I prefer Leo, but actually I don't dislike this one. It's never sounded as dated to me as it probably does to other people.

It sounds dated to me, too. Though, it's still in use for Afrikaans-speaking people, I think. I don't enjoy it: Leo seems neater and tidier.

pretty sure Leon is greek, and Leo is latin. I like both.
