I don't dislike Elspeth, but it's always sounded kind of odd coming out of my mouth. I kind of like it in the abstract, though when it comes to names I might actually consider using, it isn't up there.
I've always disliked the name Angus. I have two associations: angus beef & Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison. It's always seemed a strange choice for someone to use on a human. (The cat of that particular book feels more appropriate.)
