I like it, and would have liked to have it myself, or give it. I guess Steph is pretty inevitable at least sometimes, but I hate Stevie; it's so butchy on a girl, and so babyish on a boy.
I think Stephanie is pretty much a classic. A friend of mine is big into genealogy, and is of Polish descent. There's a big Polish-American population in northern Delaware, and that's where his family all ended up once they came to the US. According to him, Stephanie shows up a lot in early 20th century census records for the area, there are several on both sides of his family.
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes!
