Cielo
Cielo is a name I discovered today. On the site it is a user submitted name but I really like it. WDYT?

Not sure where all the "cello" comparisons come from - my Spanish is very rusty, but the two words are pronounced very differently. Not a fan.I suppose it's not all that different from naming someone Sky / Skye, but I can't say I'm a fan of that either.

Cielo means sky in Spanish and as a Hispanic with family members in Spain and other countries I have never heard anyone with this name. I looked up the name entry you mentioned and read about Mary in the Sky. In a lot of Hispanic countries Catholics tend to give names or usually middle names that are associated with the Virgin Mary. Mi cielo is common to say to your children or a partner, it's the equivalent of saying my dear or sweetheart. Most English speakers wouldn't know how to pronounce it, it does not sound like cello.

Oh, another Cielo fan!I made a post about Cielo 8 months ago and many people seemed to appreciate it, but not like it. I think it deserves more recognition. It's not one of my top names on my list, but I have the opportunity to use it in the future and I'd be very happy if I did.

It also reminds me of the cello, but that makes it cuter. I wouldn’t use it irl, but it’s a cool name. I like how it sounds.

Kinda reminds me of the cello. I would prefer Ciel, or Ciela - but this honestly isn’t bad.
