Quadruplets from the 1880's

I’m not a fan of any of these names, personally. If I had to choose, I’d choose Adaline. I think that name is kind of pretty.
Not the worst but not that great. It's already very matchy but Agnis & Agatha in the same set is too much. Just feels lazy by that point. Agnis should have been swapped out for Alyce or similar and it would have been better.
While I prefer Aloysia, Alawisha is fun.
I adore Agatha and don't mind Agnis.

Agatha and Alawisha are great as sisters. They have so much character. I like that Alawisha has 'wish' in it and that Agatha means 'good'.
I could take or leave Agnis. One potential positive thing about this spelling is that it reminds me of ignis (fire). But I think Annabel, Astrid, or Audrey would sound better with the other names.
For Adaline, I think of someone like the character Amy from Little Women. Stylewise, I feel like it's too frilly yet not frilly enough and would prefer Adele, Adela, Adelaide, Madeline...

I second the Alawisha sentiment
I like the "wish", too. It's nice.
The names get worse the farther you go down.
It started out so promising but midway it really went off the rails.
Spellings were really not very standardized back then.
Yeah, if you ever look at any old records, spellings like Agnis and Alawisha don't surprise you.
Sorry, no idea why this posted twice.

Adaline I could believe was just a knowing variant on the stylish-then Adeline. Agatha was speled correctly. The other two, especially poor Alawisha, make it obvious the parents were semi-literate at best.
I like Adaline, I don’t like the others.
