Name sighting: Vesper
Went shopping with a friend and met a baby Vesper in the wild. Opinions? I think I prefer Vespera, not hugely into the -er names for girls besides Juniper I think. Vesper is pretty punchy though.
Edit: I forgot I also like Ginger, Lavender, Clover, & Winter for -er girl names too

I love the name Vesper! It’s so unique and different. I’m glad that there’s an actual person with this name!
Yay, there's a real-life Vesper! That's one of my GP names, and one I seriously considered using back in high school (thank you, Casino Royale).
Funny that you mention them, but I also like Juniper and Lavender.

Hmmm I don’t know how to feel about it. It has a good meaning, but I’m not sure I like the sound of it on a real person, it’s a bit hissy and ugly.
I have a character named Salvatrix Vesper, Salvatrix being a title. She’s supposed to be a hallucination that haunts the main characters, and she looks exactly like Eve, who is a real person in the story. I made her name intentionally weird, like something you see in a dream. Also, “Savior Eve” in Latin would be Salvatrix Vesper, so.

I like it, but it makes me think of Bond girl Vesper Lynn.
I actually teach one, she's 13. I don't really like it to be honest
I don't much like it. It sounds hissy and reminds me of wasps.
I don't think I would use it, at least not as a first name, but I do like it a lot. I think Juniper is more usable, but Vesper's overall sound is nicer to me.
Ooh, a real live Vesper! I'm delighted. I've always liked Vesper. I think I do prefer it over Vespera (which is pretty), it just packs a different punch.
I love it.
I go back and forth between whether I like Vesper or Vespera more though... I think I am currently leaning more towards Vespera as well.
