My favourite P name is Peregrine. Pierre is a dull, everyman sort of name.

I dislike geographical names in general, and rivers/lakes are no exception. I do like Jack, but only as a nn for John.

My son is Peter; Pierre is fine in a French environment. I also like Paul and Patrick.

Jordan is far more interesting than Jack.
P names would be Paul, Peter, Philip/ Philippe, and Patrick. Not overly chuffed by Pierre, on the low end of neutral.

I think I would prefer Jack. I always relatively liked it. The song “Jumping Jack Flash” also makes me like it a little more. Jordan is also nice but I never really liked it that much.

I like Pierre, even more than Peter personally. It was my paternal grandfathers name whom I never met. Our birthdays are only a few days apart. I think it has a really charming sound it.
