Amyas
What are your opinions on Amyas for a boy? I pronounce it as “Uh-my-us” and don’t care for the “Uh-mee-us” pronunciation. How about you?

I like the name, and I like how you pronounce it, but I think the ambiguity of how it's pronounced -- uh-MEE-us? AM-ee-us? AY-mee-us? -- is enough to put me off it.

I like this spelling, it gives it a cooler, more masculine edge
I'd pronounce it uh-MIE-us or A-mee-us

It's alright, but I far prefer the look of Amias.
I love Amyas! It's medievally dashing and woodsy. I pronounce it like "Amy" and the end of Silas.
