Cleo
Is Cleo used on its own or, is it always short for Cleopatra?

I like it on it’s own as Cleo. It’s an adorable, pretty name. I’ve met one person named Cleo as their legal name. I think the combination Cleo Jade would be wonderful.

I like it. It's so plain, simple, and very pretty. I like Cleopatra too.

I’m sure Cleo would get used far more as a full name, than as a nn for Cleopatra. I love Cleo, it’s a beautiful name and a favourite of mine.

I mean, it can be, of course, but I really don't think either should be used on a human being. Maybe a cat or a dog named Cleo, but that's about it.

Yes it can stand alone.

I knew a Cleone at uni; could be short for that, though she never had a nn that I knew of.

It can stand alone but it's a terrible name for a human.

Cleo is currently in the top 1000 in the US, and several other countries as well, while Cleopatra never has been. So Cleo is used on its own far more often than as a nickname for Cleopatra.

Cleo is used on its own. But it can be used as a short name for Cleopatra.
