My daughter has a friend named Kateri. While I thought it was a little odd when I first met her, after getting used to it I think it's quite cute. The problem is that they don't pronounce it the same way as the saint name, and I like her way better! (They say it more like Kate-er-ee, while the saint is more like kuh-terry, and I don't like the name Terry.)
