The mean strikes me as an odd thing to name a son. Maybe if the child heavily resembled his grandpa it would make sense, but even then it is an unusual thought.

Sound-wise it sounds playful like a pet monkey. Avihu looks more stylish like a sea captain with a big feather in his tricorn hat.
