How do you pronounce Colleen?
Do you like Colleen?
If you are Irish, is it weird to you because it is a word?
How do you say it?
I never cared for it but I had only heard it as caw-leen (or cah-leen, sort of). More recently I heard it as coh-leen and I find that much prettier.
Can I get that pronunciation for Colleen or is it better to pick Coline?

Col-lean , like lean in closer. I like the name, it's my cousins name.
I don't dislike it, but I don't really like it either. I guess it would fall under "good, but not my style". I say either ko-lene (short o as in pot) or ki-lene (short i as in kit).
I find Colleen pretty bland despite the fact I've only known one in my life. Some names are just like that for me, even though they are technically unusual, something about them is very forgettable, and Colleen is one of them. I suppose it is bland because there is something very ordinary, simple and wholesome about it, which is actually a nice thing I guess!
I say it like "call-EEN" (where the first syllable is pronounced like the word call, as in "call me").

ko-LEEN (short o as in pot). I don't particularly like it.
Cah-LEEN is how I would pronounce it. Coline is more likely to get the pronunciation you want, but might also get pronounced COH-line.
