Ravenna
What do you guys think of Ravenna? What would you pair it with? Would you prefer Raven? This name has been growing on me a LOT recently. It’s so beautiful. I think of the city in Italy and the Oscar Wilde poem. Good associations.

While I greatly prefer Raven for a boy (I hate Raven for a girl unless she's a gothic character), I do like Ravenna as well, it's much more feminine than Raven and I like the Dante Alighieri association it has due to the city. Ravenna is a unique name but not in a weird way, and I really like the dark, mysterious, and poetic vibe of it.Because of its uniqueness, I'd prefer to pair it with something more common in order to balance that out. I adore Raven Alexander for a boy, so naturally, I like Ravenna Alexandra and Ravenna Alexandria for a girl as well. Other pairings that I'd consider would be Ravenna Beatrix, Ravenna Rosemarie, Ravenna Isabella, Ravenna Sophia, Ravenna Charlotte, Ravenna Elizabeth, Ravenna Opal, and Ravenna Eve.

It’s alright, I have mixed feelings about it. Raven sounds better in my opinion, it’s much simpler. Ravenna Jo
Ravenna Mae
Ravenna Grace
Ravenna Jane
Ravenna Rose
Ravenna June

Ditto! This name caught my attention, when I was searching for 'geographical' names.
The beauty of this name is mysteriously dark and heavy.I prefer Ravenna to Raven, as Ravenna has more depth, imo. Some power/witchy combos XD:
Ravenna Calypso
Ravenna Callisto
Ravenna Nimue
Ravenna Sylvia
Ravenna Lilith

I don't even enjoy Raven! And Ravenna is either fancied up or geographical; either way, I wouldn't like to be named Ravenna.
