Too close to 'quinine', I'm afraid. In Latin, that wouldn't have mattered! And it only really shortens to Rina (OK but middle-aged at best) or Quirry, which sounds like a toddler's first attempt at 'squirrel'.

Certainly it is a unique name, but I think it is easy to be mispronounced. If you don't like this you can go for something like Katrina.
