I like it alright, had a crush on it for a while, but it never quite made my favorites. Something slightly cold about it? Maybe the pair of T sounds is too much for me (I don't like a lot of "crisp" or hissy sounds especially in guynames)? I dunno.I've seen both boys and girls Tristan, and I feel like it's a tad cringe for a girl, I don't like it. But usable, because it got used. Seems to be basically a replacement for Kristen for some people... but to me it sounds very masculine. I guess because I'd been thinking about it as a guy-name since before it started to become popular.I think it's interesting how its popularity has dropped so fast recently. I wonder why.
