When I was a teenager, my best friend loved this name idea for a girl. For her it had nothing to do with the Kennedys, it was just the fact that it was a nice sounding surname-name. I guess because it was similar to names like Kendra and Kendall but that -dy ending seemed fun and fresh.

I also thought it was pretty cool, but this was back when the surname trend was a twinkle in most people's eyes. It doesn't seem so fun and fresh anymore, and now I do think of the Kennedys. I'm not so keen on it anymore, although the meaning doesn't bother me. It just seems very flat to me now.
