Crap I somehow didn't notice how close Theodore was to getting in the top 10. I figured out my guesses the last three days before it was due and my toddler kept making it difficult to concentrate. Maybe I wouldn't had guessed Theodore anyway because there were many boy's names that were very close to being in the 10 spot but I didn't even look into it - I didn't do my due diligence to go through all of the top 50 names like usual. Oh well. I got 11th and even if I had guessed Theodore correctly I'd have only gotten 4th place. Better luck next time to all of us who didn't win and congrats to the people who did win.

I knew Theodore was going to make it. Overall no big surprises. I'll be excited to see the lists by state when they are all out.

Woohoo! I knew Theodore would go there. No surprise about Olivia, but I am surprised about Liam.

Had a feeling Theodore was going to make it in there. A little bummed about that just because I like it and want to use it, but top 10 is a little much for me, lol. Noticed that Olivia was given to less than 1% of girls - pretty sure that’s the first time a number one name has dropped below 1%!

Thanks for posting the new chart!
Well, at least I got the top 3 for both genders right. :-)
Theodore at #10 is a big surprise for me, and Jack at #11 surprised me, too. I thought #10 would be between Levi and Alexander (I put Alexander on my prediction list).
For the girls' list, I predicted Camila to enter the top 10 instead of Harper. Too bad for me!
I predicted a close match between Ava and Amelia; I'm curious about the difference in %.
And Gianna is still at #13? I thought it would fall a lot. It seemed to only come back in 2020 because of Gianna Bryant. People probably like the sound enough to keep it in the spotlight.

Haha, looks like we made our posts around the same time. Oops. Well, it happens. (:The biggest surprise that I found among the top 10 was Theodore. I honestly didn't think it would enter until at least next year or so. No surprise at Olivia remaining at #1 and of Charlotte and Amelia rising. Surprised Camila didn't enter. It seemed like such an easy prediction. /:

Wow. Theodore actually made it - that's quite a jump! I thought it would be another two to three years.James and William switched places, and Alexander is the one Theodore dethroned. I was actually surprised Alexander re-entered the Top 10 last year, since it had been falling, so it's no wonder that's the one that gets knocked out. I'm just wowed that Theodore did it.Charlotte and Amelia both moved up. The latter surprises me somewhat - though Ava and Sophia falling doesn't. Still... the Top 10 was static for girls (in terms of entering and leaving)!

Though I haven't of course added up figures from the entire list yet, just putting the Sofias in with the Sophias yields 19,429 while Olivia plus Alivia is only 18,865. Sophia may be receding, but it is far from really being on its way out as one of the top names for girls when you put spellings together.
