I like it well enough but not the nicknames Sam or Sammy.

I love the nickname Sam on a girl, but I know too many Samantha's who are kinda bitchy which makes me dislike the name.

I really like it, it has a airy quality that I find other names beginning 'Sama' to also possess.

I actually like Samantha. I think it's pretty and I like that its fancy but also has the very approachable nickname of Sam. It's got the same energy as names like Vanessa and Pamela for me - glamorous inventions for elegant mean girls. It's a great soap opera kind of name.

I don’t like it for a person but it’s a cute name for a cat.

Samantha... hm. What do I think of Samantha? There isn’t really much to say. Samantha is an okay name. 6.9/10. I can’t say I like it, but it’s okay and I can see why somebody else might.
