One of the most awful sibsets I know of has expanded...

Do you know how I pronounce Alxe?
Are they trying to catch them all, like Pokemon? The combinations they haven't used are: Aelx, Aexl, Axle, Ealx, Eaxl, Elxa, Exal, Laxe, Lxae, Lxea, Xlae, and Xlea.
They... really need to stop.

And this is why I think naming laws are beautiful. Those kids deserve real names. This is not cool or imaginative, like the parents probably think. This is bullying.
I like Alex, Lexa and Axel very much. The others are too much for me, save for Xela. I feel sorry for those kids. Why do people do this for publicity? Their children deserve indepant names that will not get mixed up or laughed at.
Elax, Alxe, Leax and Exla are the worst ones. Xale is kind of cool, but I'm not big on Xeal (Just spell it Zeal) or Xael (it looks more made up than Xale, preferably spelled Zale.) Why did they choose to anagram such a short name? That leaves the parents with very little naming options. None of their kids are twins, triplets, etc. so whats the point?

The family in question is Flemish so in Dutch I'd say Xael as KSAH-el and Xale as KSAH-lə. Still confusing but at least not the exact same. Talk about a low bar though...
Thank you! I didn't know that. I live in the USA, and we pronounce them basically the same. But that makes more sense. But still seems very overdone or maybe trying too hard. But each to their own. I do Congratulate them on the new baby though.
It’s both super uncreative and creative that they found so many ways to mix up the same 4 letters, but completely awful and I’m so lost on how to pronounce most of them.
I have a feeling those parents are expanding the family only to get every possible anagram. In my almost-two years I've been on BtN, I now can say this is the worst sibset I've seen... it's just so nonsensical and ridiculous. Not many things get on my nerves, but this is one of them.
These parents sure want to make it hard for themselves to call each kid the correct name.
It's gross on so many levels. There's too damn many of them, and it's obvious the parents think they're being funny or clever. Treating your kids like a long-running gag is just ugly.
And Exla looks very much like Ex-Lax.

Laex? Looks and perhaps sounds like some kind of cure for constipation. The parents clearly crave publicity at any price. What a huge family, and what ghastly names! I do hope they stop now.
Bc they aren't just X names, they are all anagram of Alex...
...Oh I get it, it's all anagrams of Alex. I'm not sure if I believe this is a real family or not but if it's made up brownie points to you for creativity lol! XD
Yeah, it's THAT bad isn't it. That you're almost thinking I might be trolling. I wish I was...
