British Royal Family Names

I’ve listed a family tree from the Queen, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I love royalty, but only when they are dead. I don't know what to do with a living royal. I do like their amazing hats.
In terms of the names they use, I seem to find their attempts to be modern and creative to be very "meh". A lot of the outlier names on this list - Savannah, Zara, Sienna, Mia, Lena, Isla, etc - all bore me more than the boring classics. I do like Archie and Lilibet, because those are eccentric picks, and I guess I like my royals to be eccentric.
One thing that totally fascinates me are the RULES of what names they can pick. Maybe that's why I don't care so much about what the kids further down the line of succession are called, their parents could pick anything. But I remember reading tantalizing hints about Diana and Fergie having certain "rules" they had to follow when selecting the names and I really wonder what they are. Diana wanted Harry but technically couldn't choose that, which is why he's Henry "Harry". Are they only allowed to pick names of former kings and queens, if they are destined to be one themselves? Fergie apparently had fewer rules but there were still some restrictions. What were they! Anyway, that's the thing that interests me about royal names most of all.

I, on the other hand, am a big opponent of the royal family, and find most of their name choices unbelievably dull.
I didn't know Meghan Markle's first name was Rachel. Rachel Markle is a bit rhymey, but I'd still choose it over Meghan, or at least spell it Megan. I have never seen a less necessary H. And her and her husband's children definitely got the short end of the stick, name wise. I'd rather be Mary Elizabeth Jane or John William James like every other man in the royal family than Archie Harrison or Lilibet Diana. Lilibet is particularly bad.

I like seeing more unusual names in the royal family tree. I like a lot of these names.
Elizabeth Alexandra Mary is so elegant.
Charlotte Elizabeth Diana... has some power to it. I like it.
Autumn Patricia is very warm and cool.
Savannah doesnt really belong in royalty... Sorry not sorry. Savannah Anne is too alliterative. Very much dislike Kathleen.
Zara is so nice to see. Awesome name.
Sienna! That name has been growing on me lately. Elizabeth was predictable but that’s okay. I would probably use Sienna Mary. Great name though.
