I've been thinking. The pronunciation in some languages must be seh-BAHS-tyən so I nominate Bas pronounced or even spelled as Boss.

I suppose one possibility that hasn't been mentioned yet is Sen, as a sort of "telescoped" short version. Or Sestan as a longer such alternative?

I think Bastian is okay. Seb, Bas, Bast? There really aren’t good ones. I would just use the full name.

I like the name Sebastian but I don’t care for any of the nicknames.

I'm a fan of Bas. Seb is cute too but doesn't work as well on its own.

Most Sebastians I know go by Seb or Sebby.

Bash is my favourite. It was the nickname for a character on Reign, and the actor who played him was quite good-looking. So, I adore Bash. I love Bastien, Bastian, and Seb too.

Sebix. Not really, though, obviously, it basically means "chav" in Polish. But it is technically a nickname for Sebastian, which I also think doesn't have any good nicknames. Seb is the most palatable to me but I would personally, only ever consider Sebastian if I was dead set on always using the full name for him.

I prefer Bastian, even Tian as his nickname, and not Sebby, or Basty.

Well there's Seb or Bash, I've heard both being used.
