It's fine for a girl (like

Jesse) but not particularly interesting or likable. I'd rather see Eve,
Evangeline,
Yvonne,
Evelyn,
Ivanna,
Evren,
Evadne for a girl unless
Evan's an honoring name. There's so many similar girl names that I don't really see the point of it - or it might come across as a lazy choice. But, theoretically I think I prefer
Evan to
Heaven.
