Rosamond - I prefer the o spelling - is a long-time favourite which I would gladly use IRL.
I prefer the ROSE pronunciation to ROZ, though etymologically ROZ is more correct. But, I also prefer the false etymology created for the mistress of Henry II in order to give it the meaning of 'pure Rose' - rosa munda; however, since she was by definition not a respectable person (!), the fake meaning was tweaked further to 'rosa mundi', the whole world's Rose!
